TCHS Alma Mater

TCHS's Alma Mater is the same tune as used by many other high schools, colleges and universities, and is based upon an old Scottish tune, "Annie Lisle" but with a slower tempo. Our Alma Mater uses the same music as Cornell University in Ithica, New York, which was the first to use this tune. Below is an edited version of Alma Mater - combining the Alma Maters of Indiana University and the University Of Missouri as performed by their bands.

Alma Mater

Sing We Of Our Alma Mater
With White Columns Stand
Red And Black Forever Waving
Finest Of All Lands

Tyler Hail Our Alma Mater
Let Your Voice Be Raised
Come And In Your Heart Show Tribute
Of Your High School Days

When As Seniors, We Shall Leave You
And We Say "Adieu"
To These Halls Where Now There Echo
Memories Fond And True

Tyler Hail Our Alma Mater
Let Your Voice Be Raised
Come And In Your Heart Show Tribute
Of Your High School Days
